Affinity, Reality and Communication

 

The Affinity, Reality and Communication (ARC) model is associated with a teaching that we may learn and extend into practice.  Affinity establishes the pathways for metabolic pathways, supply chain pathways, as well as the thought and feeling processes.  Affinity affords actions that take into account two sources of intentionality.  Reality is sometimes a perceived reality, and in this case one has multiple realities.  Each of these realities has influences and mechanisms, and these can be understood.  Perhaps the way these types of realities are understood in not through precision, as in physical measurement, but though feeling and movement.   Communication is interaction, so one might talk about the Affordance, Multi-realities, Interaction (AMI) model.  The underlying principles are equivalent in specific ways.  The models are not from one group or teacher, but are universal. 

 

Imagine for a moment if this model had been used, or could be used now, to establish a working relationship between the people of Iraq and the people of the United States, as expressed by governments that fully represented democratic ideas.  Both sides would have to understand the realities of the other side, develop affinity for each other as opposed to narrowing defining a perception of national interests.   Then communication could occur about how to develop the concept of democracy in Middle Eastern countries.   The United States might even develop the concept of how to maintain democracy under the pressure from competitive capitalism.  As it is, however we are in a competition that serves the industrial/social complexes, around the world, that are dedicated to war.  Only a little bit of gain can be seen regarding the establishment of a working democracy in Iraq, and this little bit of gain might suddenly be destroyed by unexpected events.  See our work on anticipatory technology.. {+}.  

 

This model has been related to a tone scale and the tone scale related to perceptions whose origin seems universal, and found in Native American viewpoints. 

 

The tone scale has as its lowest tone the quality of being in apathy and as its highest tone the quality of being in enthusiasm or love.  This tone scale has been related conceptual to the “Warrior’s Way”, and is being illustrated in teaching and in oil images. 

 

The Warrior’s Way is expressed as an underlying teaching in the three books

 

“I will Always Come Home”     (sold out)

“Legends of the Kings”             (about 40 out of 1000 left)

“For the Love of San Lucia”     (about 60 out of 500 left)

 

Several groups are discussing a composite of viewpoints about the Warrior’s Way.  This composite may become the outline for a fictional representation of positive social life on the North and South American continents.   There are, however, some specific conceptual efforts to be done before such a project can be entertained.

 

Reality has a complex nature to it, and this complexity is not often acknowledged, particularity when thinking, or feeling, about one’s experiences using a linear tone scale.  The Founders have talked a lot about this, and about a dis-satisfaction with the notion that one can be said to be “in” a particular tone, or frequency.  Conceptual effort could be made to bring clarity to the causes for this dis-satisfaction.  The Foundation is making this effort.

 

Notions about tone scales and models are communicated only with some contemplation and skill. 

 

Part of the skill involves an understanding that focuses on the moment and manages powerful creative impulses within a social, physical and economic system.

 

Our social and economic system is doing other things. See: [*]. So the work we do is regarded as off-mainstream and “esoteric” in nature.  Well established polemics and a profound type of non-specific self/social deception reinforce this condition of being off-mainstream.  There is no conspiracy, but there is a capture of the mainstream by something that is not entirely rational or healthy.  Gambling, television programming, or cigarette smoking for example, are known to be unhealthy and yet widely participated in by the individuals within our society.

 

The physical systems are not fully explained by a mainstream science that acts as if it has pure and perfect foundations.  But as a matter of fact, unreported by the mass media, the foundations of mathematics and physical science are flawed.  These foundations are flawed in a specific fashion.  Unlike the flaw in classical mathematics, the polemics that have been created to ignore this flaw is a social flaw that can be corrected.  

 

One way to talk about the flaw in foundations is to point out that if consistent classical mathematics is provable incomplete (the result was proved by mathematician/logician Kurt Godel).  See also work on this subject at [*].  

 

Our statement should not be used to create a polemic that distorts what our scholarship is on the question of the foundations of mathematics (computer science) and physical science. 

 

Most leading scientists do not agree that Darwinism is final science, or that there is no place for some sort of well grounded theory of intelligent design.  The fact that a mainstream science has a socially reinforced final authority is part of the polemics created and maintained by cultural philosophy.  This cultural philosophy may be seen as a type of US State Religion, supported by television programming, other forms of mass media and our educational system and funding mechanisms supporting only some types of innovations and not others.  The New War has not helped us understand the uniformity and hidden power of this cultural philosophy.  A deeper analysis of our behaviors cannot be made unless we are willing to challenge the truth making that often occurs. 

 

Our focus has lead to the need for the development of principles that can be integrated into the Foundation for Creative Extension and Acquisition.
