Kelly and I have been talking about the development of a set of teachings regarding how an individual might live a life in touch with essences.  The set of teachings MIGHT be incorporated into a discipline for artistic expression in a cultural and economic world that is too often hard on creative expression.

There are three sets of concepts:

{ self discipline, self control, forbearance, timing }

{ fear, clarity, power, old age }

{ affinity, reality, communication }

These concepts are very easy to understand in the abstract, but it takes time to develop a set of personal habits based on these three sets of concepts.

The three sets of concepts do not expose the entire set of concepts that are involved in the Legend of the Kings novel.  This set of concepts are the opening set in what Pruitt has called the “Warrior’s Way”.

The key element of work we have to do is to place a context around the notion of a Warrior and to relate this context to the story told of Pruitt meeting a Toltec woman who had an association with a Nagua band and with certain elements of the history of the Big Bend region in Texas and Old Mexico.
