Discussions about how to proceed

Dear Dr. Paraki,

I am interested in your concept...could you tell me a bit more about what you anticipate the total time/length of the film would be?  Also, where will this be screened post-conference?

I have had some involvement in the making of scientific films to co-support Conference proceedings; in fact we have one into a medical conference this month.

As a University project...this is always possible; but then the timelines are naturally stretched to a Semester length project; also you can't always administer this sort of thing remotely, despite the net.  Also you would need to provide an excellent overview or 'storyboard' to get this working among a group.

Having read all the newspapers over the last week, the situation in New Orleans is certain the be a history-maker, and a political nightmare...this is just the sort of thing that film-making should capture.  Rather than worry about HOW best to assemble the project, I'd just go there now and digitally shoot whatever you can get while it is still happening!  Then do the editing tasks later.

Regards -

Cameron.
