This discussion will be framed up in the near future. We start by posting this screen shot of the ABC Ontology as it
is first loaded into the Protégé browser:
The classes of the ABC ontologystream
The RDF file that is used to load into Protégé is at: <link> Loading the ABC ontology into Protégé is easy if one knows how, and yet getting knowledge of how is not so easy. Anyone can call me if you wish to do this for the first time.
In the figure, we have highlighted the concept “ Actuality “ and see that this concept has five properties enumerated. One can see, for example, that the more complex concept
Actuality is part of a Temporality
is a possible expression by the ontology. This statement is actually inherited by the following
Actuality is part of an Action
Actuality is part of an Event
Actuality is part of a Simulation
And these inherited statements allow the ontology to represent the concept that
if actions and events can
be enumerated, they can be simulated on the computer.
The user who interacts with the differential ontology framework (having the ABC Ontology as part of the upper DOF abstract ontology (see [47] ) would have this knowledge and would also have means to define actions, events and to see the simulation (easily).
