The Land and Culture Institute at Lajitas may be created as a not for profit foundation.

The Institute’s mission could be to understand how the current state of the Lajitas properties be used as a basis for positive transformation of culture and land.

The desired benefits must include more than profits by stockholders and landowners.  The reason is that profit from the Lajitas properties may not be possible without a benefit being shared with those who live in the region, whose who pass through the resort on Highway 118 and more generally by Mexican-American cultural exchanges.

The land may also benefit from the introduction of “living machine” technology discussed in private between the principals of OntologyStream Inc and Sargert Design Associates.

Scott Sargert is respected all over the world for his imagination and sensitivity to the needs of each specific "project". He will be contacting you directly.

Discovery Channel also did a big segment on him a few years ago too.

Dharma now owns the copyright to the "Living Machine".

Scott's newer version of this technology is awesome and what we're using on our new African projects.

The above is an Oct 23, 2005 note from David Sargert to Paul Prueitt.

David and Paul became familiar with each other’s work due to the common emphasis on “anticipation”.  The Living Machine is part of a “anticipatory design” philosophy that David and Scott have been developing and implementing in projects around the world.  “Anticipatory Technology” is an alterative to Artificial Intelligence technology and to Sir Tim Berners-Lee’s concept of “Semantic Web” (coined as part of a World Wide Web consortium “W3C” standardization process.)
