I am not sure that you have time to develop an interaction between your group and the work that is done on Human Markup Language (W3C standardization as HumanML).  It is very good to see that the work is advancing.  We all understand how things are with a limited amount of time and very limited financial resources.  But perhaps it is the time to bring these two movements together into a larger process, the National Project.

Specifically to plan the inclusion of early curriculum on HumanML, and its uses in modeling human interaction with computer systems and with knowledge technologies such as SLIP, I-RIBs, ORBs and the like. 

 

I remember Silvia's work, from one of Dan Levine's neural network conferences in the late 1980s, and understand her work to be absolutely unique and very much to the point of modeling the cognitive processes as if there were layers of organization and that behavior is expressed as an organization of behavioral atoms.  This is true knowledge science. 

 

The BCNGroup.org (a not for profit Corporation (VA)) is proposing a 60 M (two year) National Project to establish the Science of Knowledge Systems as an school and university based academic discipline.

 

There seems to be no perfect language here.  The BCNGroup.org has been using the phrase "Knowledge Science" and Knowledge Technology", but we are still where the proper branding language is not settled on. 

 

One of our first steps, but not the only one, is to begin the development of a

The specific concept is that a mark-up language might be used to animate the behavioral model of Python and Linux as well as those selected elements form computer science, foundations of mathematics and cognitive / social science that are the elements of a future "Knowledge Science" curriculum for K - 12.
