"As I see it, we should expect to find the knowledge manager concerned with the knowledge needs of the enterprise. The knowledge engineers, and there are various specialties within this and the other roles, would be advising them on what can be done given the current "state of the art"; and, the knowledge scientists would be showing them what would be possible -- if they were willing to push the envelope. The role of knowledge worker actually encompasses all these roles, and people working in just about every element of the economy, as well. "
