On mapping social discourse to produce AIM
The development of a theory of type of patron, and type of expression that types of patrons are making is essentially what is being proposed and is why we need a discussion forum and the various bead games.
The
model that Intelliseek Inc has partially developed
will be extended easily using a suite of non-proprietary machine learning and measurement
tools. These follow the lead of OntologyStream Inc’s work on conceptual role-up
and the mapping of the subject matter in real time examination of text
harvested from the web.
In-Q-Tel
has invested is a specific type of sense making technology that begins to
reflect the BCNGroup’s notion of Human-centric
Information Production (HIP)
The
current strategy is to use a software template to stand up a simple e-commerce
system, and an Open Source software discussion forum to stand up a discussion
forum. The products we will sell are
produced via a just-in-time fine art reproduction technology made available to
us from dcimage Inc.
We will develop virtual museums for the artwork of A. Kelly Pruitt,
and four other artists.
In
addition to these two software systems, we will have several additional systems
including a scholar’s glass bead game, where issues related to the new
knowledge technologies are vetted. Selected
blogs from those identified by a political organization, identity not public
due to NDA, will bed harvested to produce AIM market intelligence.
The technologies
to do these types of things are available, largely within well-known research
literatures, which we understand completely.
When the
algorithms that are needed are used in conjunction with the Ontology referential
bases (Orbs), one produces
1)
New
intellectual property that can be easily filed as provision patents (at the
cost of $80 per filing)
2)
Several
orders of magnitude decreases in memory and processor requirements
3)
Several
orders of magnitude increases in speed and user understanding of the processes
that are actually occurring.
4)
No dependency
on any aspect of .NET or Java
5)
Dependency
only on FTP and TCP/IP protocols
