The Founding Committee of the BCNGroup would be most grateful if members of the community of scholars would distribute notice of a scholarly discussion regarding Technological Innovation as an Evolutionary Process.
This discussion is a virtual discussion, and has begun using a new technology for the indexing and visualization of patterns of linguistic occurrence in a moderated colloquy based on our understanding of advanced semantic technology (based on the notion that the semantic web has two sides, a human side and a machine side).
All communications are reviewed by a panel and sometimes edited to remove personal information or remarks that are not in a scholarly form. We are mapping the social discourse in regards to how these matters are regarded by learned scholars, and will sometimes post anonymously.
Some scholars are a bit uncomfortable with the issues. We ask that communications that should be anonymous be so marked by the submitting scholar.
Some people are really making the discussion into something personal, and we will not allow these communications to be entered into he bead game.
We will allow the issues to unfold in an objective fashion, and then demonstrate the Orb technologies and as resources permit, the foundational notions of HIP technology will be experimentally developed.
