Please do not forget Islamic philosophical influences on Western thinking, either, both old and modern. Dr. Sowa relied once on Ghazali's famous refutation of logic and promotion of analogy.
I do believe that it may be easier to find some conceptual frameworks in Chinese, but I think alphabetic languages also have conceptual frameworks.
