Roadmap for Semantic Technology adoption...

I am also not sure if you will receive or respond to this message, so I will use the message to make an additional communication to others in the Second School.

well [82] is not written as yet.... but I am thinking about the notion that 80% of reality has to do with the present moment - at a specific space..what I have called situational ontology has to take this into account.

So how do the two most advanced systems that I know about

Richard Ballard's Mark 3 and

Tom Adi’s

structural ontology

address this very “80-20” important aspect that ANY really correct semantic technology must address?

As a second point, I just got off the phone with Mills Davis... who send the following communication... [84]

The discussion was about moving this agenda to a summit meeting of the very best minds so that we as a community could define why the Second School feels that the First School has not fully considered the proper ontological commitments as related to this issue of situational ontology - and other issues.

The agenda would also include the launching of the KFI’s Mark 3 personal edition and in developing community advise as to where the best long-term investments are.

This community advice would be given in private to one of the venture capital community who will be funding part of the activities.

Call me on this issue if you wish..
