The development of an OWL or RDF construction to model the OASIS SOA-IM standard is being considered.

Vocabulary is a primary barrier, as the SOA-IM is developed with data objects and XML in mind.
A high-level hierarchy of SOA IM entities I give in the next figure (from Figure 1 in the above document)
This diagram is to hard to model in RDF so we look first at a smaller subset
and then a smaller subset still
Realizing that this set will make references to other part of the Model, we never the less will consider this and see what issues come up in modeling these seven entities as classes with properties.
