Center of Excellence, proposal
We are generalizing our work on the Eastern Michigan University CeRNS (Center for Regional and National Security) document/data repository [1], [ 15], [40], [22], so that the available Semantic Web related technologies are tested within an open source environment.
The architecture that we have been communicating can be applied to many different tasks. Some of these will be in public environments and some of these tasks will be in classified environments.
The single Center at EMU is part of a planned network of centers following the concept of a Center of Excellence
In new work, we are demonstrating how extracting sets of concepts using one of several systems can be used to automate the development of machine ontologies.
