Abstract

We address the relationship between informational latency and computer-based instrumentation for expressing a diversity of viewpoint.

The nature of In-memory Referential Information Bases (I-RIBs) to Differential Ontology is revealed as consistent with the Topic Maps Standard.  Specifically we address the relationship between continuum mathematics and discrete mathematics as the formal basis for information production by humans using computers.  Consistent grounding in cognitive neuroscience and semiotics (theory of sign systems) is presented separately in an on-line book .

I-RIBs and Differential Ontology is represented as allowing computer-mediated conciliation. The conciliation process provides rule-based instrumentation to shift locally variant meaning over controlled vocabularies used by a diverse community
